With a title like SMOKEY BITES THE DUST, you would think the elevator pitch for the movie would go something like, "The sheriff of a small town will stop at nothing to catch a high school rebel that kidnaps his daughter" This movie is so much more. Much, much more.

Or, "Time is running out as a local moonshiner looks to strike it rich by selling his prized recipe before law enforcement catches up with him" Or, "A pre-teen girl wrestles with the challenges of growing up while living in a small town full of corruption and danger"
