Barry Snell chats with Bernie Warren who's sight loss story began in 2011 when she was diagnosed with Diabetic Macular Odema.
Five years later Bernie was registered as visually impaired, which quickly led to her losing her job as a nursery teacher and then a short while later, her driving license too.
This was a dark time in Bernie's life...
Now over 10 years later she has slowly rebuilt her life thanks to support from friends and family & also ongoing support from RNIB.
