Making A Difference: LSU Coach Brian Puckett Gives Back to Hometown

Often times, various life changes can take us away from where we grew up. For Coach Brian Puckett, his career path has taken him from Rogersville, Alabama, but it will always be his home. One thing I love is when people leave where they consider home, but go back to give back to the place that meant so much to them.

On Saturday, Coach Puckett, who is now the head strength and conditioning coach for LSU Basketball, made the over seven hour trip (he had a grand total of 30 hours to spare) from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to Rogersville to share some of his experiences and knowledge with Lauderdale County High School athletes. I had the opportunity to have not only Coach Puckett on the show, but his mom, Amy, as well to share about his path from Rogersville to Baton Rouge. Listen & share.
