Conflict is driving children out of school - Education advocate

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization says shortages of qualified primary school teachers is a challenge facing the education sector.

A consultant with UNESCO, Deng Yai said this in Juba yesterday while presenting a report on the State of education in South Sudan.

He says out of over sixty thousand teachers in the Country only over seven hundred have University degrees.
