Support for republic collapses

The latest opinion poll in the UK ( the respected Ipsos MORI poll) shows that only 13% of Britons want a republic. For the Royal Visit last year, ACM invited Roy Morgan research to survey support for a politicians republic from the time of the referendum. This confirmed our findings set out in the opinion polling section on our site. Support in Australia then for a politicians Republic was at 34%. If there’s a similar trend here to the UK , support would be down to the twenties.
