"We got our food and got back on the road. My barely functioning hand reached for my large soda in the cup holder. I inadvertently knocked it out of the indention in the center console and onto the floor at her feet. She screamed and laughed when the freezing beverage splashed across her feet.
Somehow, she managed to control the car after yanking her foot off of the accelerator pedal. She turned the wheel to the side to guide us to the breakdown lane.”
