Insight Pod-Bites is a new RNIB Podcast produced by Charlotte Jones, RNIB’s Knowledge Communications Officer, providing a roundup of the latest information and insight from RNIB’s Research on a range of topics relating to sight loss.
In the first episode of Insight Pod-Bites, Charlotte focuses on how the rising cost of living crisis is having a disproportionate impact on blind and partially sighted people, and what advice and support is available from the RNIB to help visually impaired people if they are worried about the rise in the cost of Living.
In the podcast, Charlotte hears from one lady who is very concerned about her electricity and heating bills going up, and also speaks with Cate Vallis, RNIB’s Interim Campaigns and Public Affairs Manager, about how RNIB has launched an urgent action calling on the Government to help support visually impaired people with the cost-of-living crisis.
