Having a Positive Sexual Experience Without Testing Positive
Season 1, Episode 37, Aug 31, 2022, 11:00 PM
Midlife women are at much greater risk for acquiring a sexually transmitted infection (STI) than most people appreciate. Since a condom covers only the penis, short of strapping on a trash bag to cover a man’s scrotum, anus, and surrounding skin, there is no such thing as total protection. And obviously, a condom is not a solution when it comes to oral sex, whether it is with a woman, a man, two women, or any other combination you can think of.
In this episode, Dr. Streicher covers:
- WHY mid-life women are at high risk for getting an STI
- A guide for buying CONDOMS
- Ways to avoid getting or giving an STI during ORAL sex
- Dental dams and DYI dental dams
- Female condom
- Saran™ Wrap?
- LORALS™ latex undies
A conversation with *Melanie Cristol about latex undies
- Why women often turn down oral sex?
- What are latex undies?
- How latex undies protect against transmission of bacteria and viruses
- Why latex undies are better than dental dams and condoms
- What's it’s like to use latex undies
*Melanie Cristol is the Inventor, Founder & CEO of Lorals. Prior to creating Lorals, Melanie studied Sociology at Columbia University and received her JD from Columbia Law School. She worked as a healthcare and consumer products attorney and was part of the legal team that secured gay marriage rights for the western United States.
