Each week we chat with RNIB’s CEO Matt Stringer to discuss the big news affecting the charity.

This week Matt starts this week catch up with an update on how the RNIB and our sight loss sector partners are continuing to monitor the cost of living crisis an put plans together to help blind and partially sighted people who will be feeling the impact of the crisis this autumn and into the winter.  

As it is Remember A Charity Week this coming week, starting on Monday 5 September, Matt talks about how many people do help to support the work of the RNIB by leaving a legacy in their Will and how the RNIB Legacy Team can help with writing or updating your Will for free.  

Finally with a celebrity event also this coming week to mark the end of the cross-charity mentoring scheme which saw 200 people participate as a mentor or mentee with 75 people from the RNIB including Matt as a mentor too. Matt talks about the benefits of the mentoring scheme not only to the RNIB but other charities who took part in this year’s scheme.
