Cat's Eye with David Bruckner

Episode 146,   Oct 05, 2022, 08:00 AM

Director David Bruckner (Hellraiser, The Night House, The Ritual) joins the Kingcast boys to talk a bit about his new Hellraiser movie as well as the massive impact Cat's Eye had on him as a young horror fan. Bruckner is also no stranger to the anthology format, having worked on things like The Signal, Southbound and VHS and has a unique viewpoint on what makes a good anthology and why the hell they're so hard to get made at a studio level these days. Plus there's copious talk of tiny trolls with wavy knives and the most bizarre cocktail party sequence ever put to film.

When Dino De Laurentiis and Stephen King team up, things are gonna get wild, especially with Cat's Eye, a cable staple for '80s kids that features three Stephen King short vignettes all strung together by a cute cat and little Drew Barrymore.
