Group Therapy: Appropriate Wedding Attire?

She wore a mini-skirt to the last wedding she attended with her bf. He didn't like it, thought she showed too much skin & looked like she was going clubbing rather than to a wedding. They've got another wedding this weekend and she's wondering what "wedding" rules she's missing!
