John MacKenzie chats with David Crisafulli, LNP Member for Broadwater and State Leader of the Opposition, about the troubling rates of youth crime following a recent debate in the Queensland parliament.

The debate focused on victims of crime and the negative impact it has made on their lives, with a local Cairns mother's story given airtime during the parliamentary debate.

Mr. Crisafulli asked Premier Anastacia Palaszczuk how many more people needed to become innocent victims of youth crime before the government started to act. The Premier explained that their government was listening to the community and addressing the issue.
