This #GivingTuesday Nat West Group Customers and Employees Will be Supporting the Work of the RNIB

Season 1, Episode 1483,   Nov 29, 2022, 02:00 PM

We know that there are many ways in which people support the work of the RNIB to make a more inclusive society for blind and partially sighted people. One way to do this is through #GivingTuesday a global day of giving which this year is today Tuesday 29 November 2022.

Many organisations and companies get involved in #GivingTuesday by supporting their employees and customers to make donations to charities like the RNIB and one such organisation is the NatWest Group and Royal Bank of Scotland.

RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey was joined by Fiona Baxter, Giving Strategy and programmes Manager at NatWest Group/RBS to find out more about #GivingTuesday and how they are supporting their customers and employees to support the work of the RNIB.

Fiona began by telling Toby a bit about the history of #GivingTuesday and how NatWest Group will be celebrating the day too.

Fiona went on to explain how easy it is for NatWest Group customers and employees to get involved in #GivingTuesday and donate to the RNIB whether that might be through the rewards programme as a customer or through pay roll giving as an employee.

Toby and Fiona then talked about how important it is at the moment with the cost of living crisis for people to support the work of many charities through #GivingTuesday whether that might be through financial donations or giving some of your time to support the work of charities like the RNIB.
