Balenciaga Bullshit | True Crime Sunday

Balenciaga discontinued its holiday advertising campaign earlier this month. The campaign featured toddlers holding teddy bears dressed up in bondage harnesses and costumes. (The BDSM accouterments were also seen walking the runway at the Balenciaga show that took place during Paris Fashion Week.) The photographs have been met with fast outrage, with many accusing the company and its creative director, Demna, of endorsing pedophilia and child exploitation. The hashtag #cancelBalenciaga has been trending on Twitter and TikTok, and many people have used it to express their disapproval of the images.
