She's worked with books her whole life - whether it's teaching high school English classes or working at a book store, she's always loved reading and has especially loved sharing her passion with young folks. When she began volunteering with Multnomah County Libraries, she realized they did not have a bookmobile or a way to bring books to communities that can't make it to the library.
