Graduation Weekend & A Warning From Police | 4 Killed For What

Episode 18,   Dec 11, 2022, 05:36 PM

With commencement this weekend, there will be an influx of people coming in from out of town. Moscow Police Department and Idaho State Police will provide coverage on campus and in the Moscow area. As always, we want to remind the public to stay vigilant, travel in groups, and communicate with family and friends as they travel. If you have any information regarding the case, please email the Tip Line: tipline@ci.moscow.id.us or call us at 208-883-7180.

This comes after Thursday night’s scene of what appeared to be plane-clothed US marshals entering the crime scene, and leaving in a very quiet and rushed manor.

And a pushback on reporting that there was a cutback on the number of officers on the case. Here’s police chief James Fry discussing the alleged cutback and what was to expect over the weekend during graduation.

The investigation continues with the same amount of resources. Moscow Police Department: • 6 Detectives • 5 Support Staff • Communications Team Federal Bureau of Investigation: • 46 investigators in Moscow & located throughout the United States • 2 Behavior Analysis Unit investigators Idaho State Police: • 13 investigators in Moscow • 15 uniformed troopers assisting with community patrols • ISP Forensics Services

Detectives remain interested in speaking with the occupant(s) of a white 2011-2013 Hyundai Elantra with an unknown license plate. Tips and leads have led investigators to look for additional information about this vehicle being in the immediate area of the King Road residence during the early morning hours of November 13th. Investigators believe the occupant(s) of this vehicle may have critical information to share regarding this case. If you know of or own a vehicle matching this description or know of anyone who may have been driving this vehicle.
