More about Dr. Sajjid Z Chinoy:
Dr. Sajjid Z Chinoy, is Managing Director and Chief India Economist at J.P. Morgan. He is also currently serving a second term as a part-time member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, also known as EAC-PM. He has previously worked at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and McKinsey & Company. Since 2013, he has been ranked as one of India’s best fixed income researchers by Asset Magazine every year. He has authored several publications on the Indian economy including co-editing a book on Indian economic reform titled: “Reforming India’s External, Fiscal and Financial Policies” with Dr. Anne O. Krueger (World Bank Chief Economist from 1982 to 1986, and the first deputy managing director of the International Monetary Fund from 2001 to 2006). He received his Ph.D. in economics at Stanford University in 2001.
