Carrigtwohill edge past Courcey

Saturday evening in Pairc ui Rinn defending champions Carrigtwohill just snuck over the line beating last years Premier Intermieadate Champions Courcey Rovers 0-17 to 0-13.

Coucey battled hard throughout the game and were very unlucky not to go in leading at half time only for a wonder save from Carrig keeper Willy McCarthy with the last puck of the first half,Carraig lead by a point 10-9 at half time

Courcey started the second half brightly but Carrig's expierence showed and the move of Niall McCarthy from full forward to centre forward stedied the champions.A last minute goal chance for Courcey was blocked off the line but Carraig held on to advance on a scoreline of 17 points to 13.
