Sanctions for those fueling violence in Jonglei - The Round Table

Greater Jonglei state has witnessed series of intercommunal attacks over the past several which resulted in the death of hundreds of people and thousands more displaced. Several efforts have been made in past through peace conferences to bring peace and stability in Greater Jonglei but to no avail. This week a group of humanitarian actors together with the government visited Pibor to assess the level of humanitarian needs of the displaced. What more can the government do to ensure that violence in that region is contained.
