SPEN members, W-West and Ash Scotland supported pupils from Gorgie Mills School and Leith Academy dressed as wolves and sheep at the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday. The young people were joined by Chic Brodie MSP, Bill Kidd MSP, Duncan McNeil MSP to highlight the campaign for plain packaging on tobacco products.

The campaign aims to urge the Scottish Government to “unmask the wolf in sheep’s clothing”.

Sheila Duffy, Chief Executive of leading anti-tobacco charity ASH Scotland said: “We know that fancy brands and packaging help make tobacco more attractive to young people - so we urge the Scottish Government to back the idea that all tobacco products be sold in plain, unbranded packaging.”
