During the trial of accused murderer Alex Murdaugh, a crime scene investigator took the stand to shed light on the tire tread marks found on the leg of the victim, Maggie Murdaugh. The expert witness, Dr. Kenneth Kinsey, stated that the tread marks are a crucial piece of evidence as they suggest that Maggie came in contact with an ATV at the time of the fatal shooting. While the markings do not necessarily mean that Maggie was run over by the ATV, they do indicate that she was in close proximity to the vehicle during the tragic event. This new information has added another layer of complexity to the already mysterious and gruesome murder case, leaving the jury to ponder the possible events that led to Maggie's death. The tire tread marks have become a focal point of the investigation, adding further intrigue to the already captivating trial.
