Alice was a trendsetter in fashion and set the standard for American women's style during the early 20th century.

Despite her privileged upbringing, Alice faced many challenges in her personal life. She married twice and experienced the loss of both her husband and her only child. Throughout her life, Alice remained an outspoken and independent woman, advocating for social and political causes such as women's rights and civil liberties. She lived to be 96 years old, witnessing significant changes in American society and politics throughout her lifetime.
