In this episode, I’m sharing the messy truth about what happens when you’re unexpectedly taken out by illness — and how to keep your business going when you’re flat out in bed. After nearly two weeks of being completely wiped out by COVID, I learned the hard way what really matters (and what absolutely doesn’t) when you’re the sole person running the show.

I talk about how I managed to sign two new clients while barely able to get out of bed, the bare-minimum strategy that still keeps things moving, and why being smart with batching, automation, and setting up systems in advance is your golden ticket — not just for sick days, but for actual freedom.

If you’ve ever worried that your whole business will fall apart if you take a break, this one’s for you.

✨ Planning for sick days is really just planning for joy. Because when you work smart, you don’t need to work constantly.
