Lift off to big dreams

"One thing I love particularly about flying is the moment of lifting off, getting rid of gravity and the relief of being disconnected from permanent availability on the cellphone. Being half asleep, listening to the mixture of sounds slowly merging to an abstract drown.
"For this piece I processed the chosen recording and combined it with other processed recordings (of my own property) such as a countdown of the start of a space shuttle, or radio waves and finally an abstract melody played on the strings of an upright piano. The whole piece explores the different stages while transitioning into a daydream."
