Fundraising drive underway for treatment of mutilated teenager

The Communications consultant for the newly formed South Sudanese Women United Against Violence and Abuse says they have raised closed to one thousand dollars for treatment for the 15-year-old girl whose eyes were mutilated after she refused an arranged marriage. The pressure group will bring the girl to Juba today for further treatment. They have called on well-wishers to donate money for her healing process.
