Series 2 'Still ticking!' - Episode 2: Mari Wilson, singer, song writer and actress

Mari Wilson, the British pop and jazz singer, often known as the Neasden queen of soul. She first arrived on the scene in the early eighties with her skyscraper beehive hairdo, bizarre sense of fashion and fully choreographed twelve piece band The Wilsations. Mari has continued to release records, and perform. In 2016 she released her critically acclaimed album, Pop Deluxe, where she breathed new life into songs by other female artists.
