"The original audio I choose creates a wonderful spirit of place. I struggled with how to re-imagine the track in order to respect the sprit of the recording and to play with the sensory pictures that it conjured for me.
"I used clips of the original piece with a few FX applied, reversed, repeated and overlayed and added clips of my recordings taken from journeys and places over a number of years.
"I wanted to create a feeling of how memory jumbles up events time and place into a rolling timeless canvas that is dream like and often more potent in a sensory way then the (t)here and now."
