The State Line Mob was a group of criminals who operated during the 1950s and 1960s along the Tennessee-Mississippi state line, primarily in Alcorn County, Mississippi, and McNairy County, Tennessee.
At the center of the operation were Jack and Louise Hathcock, who owned and operated motels, restaurants, clubs, and other businesses that brought in money through bootlegging, illegal gambling, prostitution, robbery, and murder.
In this episode of The Stabbin Stylist, we continue exploring the State Line Mob, the people involved, and the crimes that made this stretch of the Tennessee-Mississippi border notorious.
