John Stallwood was a Cordwainer (shoe repairer), who lived in York Town (prior to the existance of Camberley). He probably had a lot of army boots to service at RMA Sandhurst.

He was born in Marlow in 1812, where the RMA then existed. Later on, the RMA moved to Sandhurst, and so did John, following the work. He died on 15 June 1851, aged 69 years old.
