Storm - night with Helene

"With my piece I want to invite someone into a cosy room during a thunderstorm: there is a thunderstorm outside, soft rain, birds and crickets.
Cat Helene joins purringly and mellow music and singing can be heard. In this stormy night one can fall asleep to a verse from german "Abendlied" from 1790.

"The source recording is the thunderstorm - outside, nearly unchanged by me.
I created the room inside by playing a sparse electric piano and singing.
Helene is a dear cat, whom I take care of sometimes. She likes to sleep on my legs.
Her owner sent me a recording by her purring, so she could also joins this snipped of a night."

Slovenian storm reimagined by Judith Mann.
