Return on Inclusion with Earl B. Hunter, Jr.

Episode 281,   Oct 24, 2023, 12:00 PM

Earl B. Hunter, Jr., the founder and president of Black Folks Camp Too, sits down with Adam for today’s episode recorded at the Utah Tourism Conference. Earl discusses the importance of diversity and inclusion in the outdoor industry and details the educational opportunities his company offers. Later in the episode, Earl also gives some tips on public speaking and how he’s been able to captivate his audience.

"I always tell folks, this is no Kumbaya, this is an ROI, and ROI for us means Return on Inclusion. We’ll get a true Return on Inclusion once we start to invite and welcome folks of color into these spaces that we don’t know anything about. But before we can do that though, the industry has to be prepared, the industry has to be educated, the industry has to invite and activate. That’s how we rock and roll." - Earl B. Hunter, Jr.
