In this Josh Talks episode, Meha Pande, a cancer survivor narrates her story of battling cancer and how she embraced her journey of all ups and downs despite this challenging phase, and coming out with a purpose to explore her true potential to live life to the fullest.

In 2021, Life took a surprise turn when she was diagnosed with stage 2 of aggressive Ovarian cancer. She couldn’t comprehend what was going on. She underwent emergency surgery, and the journey became challenging. She was hospitalized for over 45 days, and multiple surgeries, infections, and chemotherapy-induced hair loss followed this. But with resilience and a never-give-up attitude, she was ready for the toughest battle of her life.

For her treatment, she shifted from Siliguri to Delhi. But this came with a reminder that she was far from the hopes and dreams of becoming a mother. She was sad that this could never be her reality. But her husband was a constant support in this journey and situation.

This journey taught her gratitude, resilience, and empathy. The scars remind her of her strength, and embracing her chemo curls symbolizes self-acceptance. Nearly 20 months post-treatment, she still faces challenges but focuses on living every moment with gratitude.
