"The drumming of the original recording inspired to create an imaginary soundscape; I saw myself hiding aboard a creaky boat while tribal drums beat in the distance.

"First I cut apart the drums to create a new rhythm, then I added some waves, creaks, and seagulls from my own sound library to round out the atmosphere."
