Manteigas (Wind and birds live dub mix)

"I'm always a fan of incorporating field recordings into my music. After listening to the original nature recording for the first time, I had the idea of taking up the melody of the birds and accompanying it with a synth sound. I mainly work in Ableton Live, where I tried out the "Harmony 2 MIDI" function. I cut the field recording and used several places with the original track. Then I added all the other sounds and tracks, roughly pre-arranged everything, faded the tracks in and out live, sent them to the effects, etc. and recorded the whole thing. That's how I came up with an ambient dub piece. Enjoy!"
