"The field recording immediately took me back to time that I spent travelling in the subcontinent as a young man. I drew upon a rich store of memories to create a piece that evokes the alien majesty of India; juxtaposing the contrasts of wide open landscapes and crowded bazaars, beautiful nature and bustling humanity, lyrical, microtonal ragas in Rajasthan and the ubiquitous dub reggae and trance in Goa."
