The Historic Scott County Jail in Huntsville, Tennessee, isn’t what you’d expect. The jail, which opened in 1904, looks more like a creepy medieval castle. It looks like a place that once housed prisoners and now houses their spirits.
Today, this historic jail has been transformed into a museum and a hub for paranormal research, thanks to the efforts of Miranda Young and Kristy Sumner, passionate paranormal investigators with a deep appreciation for history. The jail has reopened its doors for tours and investigations, and it seems the former inmates and employees are still there, with stories to tell.
