WHAT HAPPENED TO THE GAME I LOVE? ANDY REID THE GOAT, EMBIID DUCKING JOKER & NO LOVE FOR OLD HEADS

Episode 31,   Jan 31, 03:08 PM

In this week's episode, I give my thoughts on the NFL conference championships and why the NBA is not made for old heads.

Welcome back to Sports & The Real Sh*t!

The NFL conference championship is over and the Super Bowl is around the corner. Before we go there, I take a look back at what happened between the Ravens and Chiefs and the Lions and Niners. Weird stuff happens in single-elimination games - players choke, coaches' brains lock up, and lucky plays can be the difference between going on and going home.

The NBA just saw one of the craziest weeks ever with everybody going for 60. So, that leaves me to wonder, what happened to real basketball? In the words of Mark Jackson, what happened to the game I love? Is basketball over as we knew it?

Key Highlights
1:18 - What happened to Lamar the runner?
4:26 - The case for Andy Reid as the GOAT head coach
16:57 - NFL fans don't care about winning
21:18 - Dan Campbell coaches like he's playing Madden
30:10 - Joel Embiid ducking the Joker is bad for basketball and business
41:20 - Scoring in the NBA is out of control and Adam Silver doesn't care
51:01 - The NBA, like current rap music, isn't for old heads
