"The recording is placed in Hazrat Nizamuddin, a mausoleum dedicated to the Sufi saint – Khawaja Nizamuddin Auliya who lived during 1238 – 1325 CE. He was a saint of the Chishti order and a firm believer in secularism and religious harmony. The mausoleum was constructed in 1325 by Muhammad Bin Tughlaq (The eighteenth Sultan of Delhi).

"The recording was made while walking the premises of the Dargah, during a much crowded Eid Milad-ul Nabi (observation of the day when the Islamic prophet Muhammad is reported to have been born) -23. One can also chart the distance from the Centre of the Dargah where ceremonial Qawwali is taking place. This distance changes as we move close to and then further away from the grave/shrine."

Recorded in India by Bariya.
