Deer and owls in the middle of the night, France

Mar 08, 10:00 AM

"The beginning of autumn goes pair with nature changing... And alpha male deer are seeking and fighting for their partners to preserve their species. This is the time, at the end of September, where you can hear deer in the evening and in the night.

"Hidden in forests, with owls calling as well, you can immerse in pure nature with no human intrusion. Some wind goes through the pine trees and oak trees. Distant calls give a sense of depth to this soundscape at Mont Lozère at 1500 m altitude."

Recorded at Mont Lozère, Mas de la Barque, France by Antonius Driessens.
