COURT - Adam Montgomery Verdict In The Murder of Harmony Montgomery

Feb 22, 07:10 PM

Adam Montgomery has been found guilty of murdering his 5-year-old daughter Harmony. The jury also convicted him of related charges, including second-degree assault, falsifying evidence, abuse of a corpse, and witness tampering.

Sentencing is expected after April 1st. Montgomery was absent from court during the verdict reading. The victim's mother, Crystal Sorey, was visibly relieved as the guilty verdicts were announced.

The jury deliberated for approximately one day. This followed closing arguments where the defense blamed Harmony's death on Kayla Montgomery, Adam Montgomery's estranged wife, while prosecutors asserted Kayla was also a victim of Adam's abuse.

Harmony's body has not yet been recovered.
