TCP Ep. 9 Vice Detective and Author Joseph Haggerty

Got the chance to talk to retired Vice Detective and Author Joe Haggerty. Joe spent 35 years working for Washington Metro PD and is a specialist in prostitution prosecutions focused specifically on pimps during the eighties and nineties. We talked about some of the cases he worked on. The grim, often horrible, realities of life for women caught up in prostitution. The schemes, scams, and cycle of violence, run by the men who control them, and how Joe found success in rescuing underage girls from the street.
