RadioStPete INSIDER correspondent Jordan Kalajian will enchant you with her preview of this beloved classic musical performed outdoors this spring. Talking teapots and clocks, an emotionally-stunted beast, a determined princess - you know the story. American Stage's Park show is the Disney classic, Beauty and the Beast. Per tradition, the beast is really a young prince spellbound to appear as a monster due to his shallow ways, and if he and Belle can fall in love, like really in love, he'll be free. But as most Disney fairy tales go, there's a time crunch. Sing along with the cast in the park. The show is in Demens Landing Park from Wednesday-Sunday every week at 7:30 pm April 3-May 5 located at Bayshore Dr. SE. & 2nd Ave. SE in downtown St. Pete. Opening night is April 5 and a fundraiser for the theater, with VIP dinner and seating. Pride Night is 4/14 and Pet Night is 4/21.
