Metals and minerals are in smartphones, TVs, batteries and so much more.  How would we cope without them?  Yet, they have to be mined.  So, we take a look at their effect on the economy and the environment.  To help us dig deeper we have two guests from Cambourne School of Mines at the University of Exeter – Dr Hadi Mohammadi, Research Fellow and Dr Rob Fitzpatrick, Senior Lecturer.
