RadioStPete.com INSIDER correspondent Deb Carson reports on the April 17 Senior Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony. This year, St. Petersburg will celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the annual Senior Hall of Fame Awards Ceremony. This FREE event will take place on Wednesday, April 17, beginning at 5:30
p.m., at the Mahaffey Theater. Light refreshments will be served.
With 49 nominees, ten will be inducted into the 2024 Hall of Fame.
The 10 selected for induction into the Hall of Fame will receive an award, and be invited to an additional ceremony where they will be honored by Mayor Ken Welch and the members of City
Council. And there at that ceremony, in recognition of their
outstanding contributions and service, they will also be awarded a key to the city, the highest honor the City bestows.
