Dr. Dori Kazdin and Ron Goldstein enjoy downtown dining, live music on the beach, art and theater. Both have encore chapters here in St. Petersburg, starting off as snowbirds from Chicago and now here full-time. Dori is an artist and Ron an actor. Dr. Dori Designs launched two years ago with showcases at local and regional art show, including Corey Avenue and Dunedin, Sarasota and Del Ray (4/12). She will be at Mainsail 4/20-22. “My heart was always divided between art and science, and I always loved working with semi-precious beads even when I was a research immunologist and later a pediatrician. My retirement allowed me to focus on my art. Each piece unfolds and creates its own story, and are one-of- a-kind with pops of color and whimsical designs from delicate to chunky, many influenced by coastal colors and
freshwater pearls.” Ron Goldstein aka The Beach House Guy has been on stage for 40 years in Chicago and Tampa Bay. “My favorite was playing Skipper in Gilligan's Island (Gulfport Community Players) and I would love to play Tevye!” He also performs as Ron LaCroix in POLYESTER, PLEASE – A joyous nostalgic review of 70s greatest hits, coming up at Cage Brewing 4/25@7:30 pm. #art #theater #radiostpete #nanettewiser
