Dulce María López is an artist and activist from Jalisco, México. Much of her art is inspired by social and political issues happening in México and throughout Latin America with emphasis on the influence the United States has historically had in the region. Dulce hopes her art could evoke her audience to question the status quo and take action.

In this episode, Dulce reflects on her experience growing up in México and migrating to the United States when she was 11 years old. She shares how she fuses her love for art and passion for social change by using art as a tool to teach and build community.
