An amazing achievement for Sophie Unwin and her Pilot Jenny Holl on winning Gold in the women’s Para Cycling Road Race at the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games on Friday 6 September 2024.
Coming in to the last 1000 metres of the just over 99km race it was between Sophie and Jenny and the Irish Team of Katie-George Dunlevy and Linda Kelly but a fantastic flying downhill sprint finish from Sophie and Jenny to win the Gold.
