We prerecorded this episode prior to the devastating wildfires that have greatly impacted Los Angeles. While our hearts and minds are constantly with the city we love; we decided to release this episode because more than ever we need some levity and pockets of joy wherever possible. Our hope is that our podcast can be a reprieve, albeit brief, from the anxiety, sorrow and fear that many of us are surrounded by at the moment. At the bottom of our show notes, you can find a list of resources of where to donate or find help if you've been impacted by the wildfires. We love this beautiful city and have been moved by the outpouring of support and the willingness of so many to step up in any way possible.  We will get through this together. ❤️

This week, Katie and Mary Kate take a caller who shares a DMV horror story and they also share stories about: putting your foot in your mouth, a rest stop visit from Hell, blowing it with your crush, getting and losing your dream job in the same day and more!

If you have an embarrassing story that you'd like to share with us, please email us at beetredpodcast@gmail.com
