The Inquisitive Tongue: Sharon Mahoney on Wine Trends, Valentine Sips

In this episode of The Inquisitive Tongue, foodie Nanette Wiser chats with Event by the Glass wine aficiando, instructor and Thrive DTSP neighbor Sharon Mahoney on wine trends, Valentine sips, what wines pair well with cheeses and her new event space Savoir On Central,  a membership wine club will open in Grand Central in March. According to its website, Savoir will offer continuous educational events and members will receive exclusive access to wines selected by Sommelier Sharon Mahoney. The establishment at 2531 Central Ave. will also serve gourmet coffee, “delectable” bites and private group space.  "I love to learn and have a passion for sharing my experiences with others. I have always enjoyed a glass of wine after a long day of work; however, it wasn’t until my first wine course that I was engaged to learn more! You may not be as interested in terroir or vine management as I am; however, I promise to share stories and experiences that will help you understand and appreciate what is in your glass," says Mahoney.
