Host Nanette Wiser was lucky to get a preview of this weekend's sciencepalooza from Innovation District Executive Director Alison Barlow. Ready to unleash your inner scientist and embrace the wonders of the universe? The St. Pete Science Festival is back for another year of hands-on exploration, innovation, and creativity. This free event occurs Saturday, February 8, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the University of South Florida St. Petersburg campus (140 7th Ave S) and Poynter Park. This year’s festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. This event is your chance to dive into a day filled with interactive exhibits and mind-blowing experiences. From marine life to the mysteries of outer space, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Feb. 7 is School Day (registration is full) and Feb 8th from 10am to 4pm is the free Public Festival (no registration need). The Festival is held in conjunction with MarineQuest, the open house of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s Fish and Wildlife Research Institute. The two events happen side-by-side and attendees are able to walk from one to the other. https://stpetescifest.org/
